My name is Bill Stewart and I began diving with Rusty and the professionals of Scuba Schools of America in 2008. I was instantly hooked on diving and wanted more. I completed my advanced diving in 2009 and became a Dive Control Specialist or Dive Con in early 2010. Because of the expert education on scuba diving techniques like buoyancy control, navigation, and fish identification that I received at SSA, I have been able to help others enjoy their underwater experiences.
I retired from NASA/JPL in January 2012 after 33 years of service. I enjoy running, biking, swimming and diving. In addition to diving with the SSA club, I am a volunteer exhibit diver for the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. Hope to see you on a dive boat real soon!
