I’m Sarah Boniface, I am a senior at Bonita high school in La Verne and I and a certified lifeguard. What I love most about teaching swim is seeing the progress of my students and seeing the excitement on their faces, or the faces of their parents.
Hi my name is Sierra Hicks! I am currently a dedicated high school student working toward the medical field and am also a certified lifeguard! My favorite part about teaching swim is the satisfaction on someone’s face at the end of each class as well as the friendships I make with the people who affiliate themselves with our family shop. I am very excited to see what the future holds for our family and those who continue to work with us.
I’ve been an avid swimmer since the age of 4 when my father tossed me in the Arcadia Plunge pool and expected me to swim. Needless to say that didn’t work out very well. My parents put me into swim classes immediately after that event and the rest is history. I was on waterpolo teams in both high school and college. I coached water polo and swim throughout my life and realized a few years ago that I needed to get our swim programs on track and better organized. We adopted the Swim Schools International swimming program. It is by far the best and most professional swim program I have ever encountered. It takes a well thought out and balanced approach to teaching swim with proven methods and techniques. Whether you’re an adult in your 70’s or a child that’s 2, I am excited to spend the time it takes to show you how easy it is to learn to swim.
