Wear it under your wetsuit for extra warmth on a cooler dive, then keep it on topside, where the long sleeves and UPF50+ fabric guard against the sun.

How Chillproof Handles Wind and Water

The fabric starts with a Nylon/Spandex outer layer that resists abrasion and sheds water thanks to a DWR finish. Underneath is a membrane that is completely windproof yet breathable, and on the inside a hollow fiber fleece pulls moisture away from your skin. Sharkskin rates the combination at about the warmth of a 2.5 to 3mm neoprene wetsuit, and because it is neutrally buoyant, you do not need to add weight for diving.

The half zip is what sets this top apart. Zip it to the high collar when the wind picks up, or drop it partway when the sun comes out or you are paddling hard.

Women's Fit and Sizing

This is a women's cut sized US0 to US16, in Black. The 4-way stretch fabric follows your shape and lets your arms move freely through a full paddle stroke. It resists chafing and odor, so it stays comfortable through long days on the water.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear the women's Chillproof Chest Zip Top snorkeling?

Yes.
