Just like our SCUBA programs, we take the utmost pride in molding comfortable, confident swimmers. Our goal is to give each student the confidence and knowledge to feel secure in almost any aquatic situation. Our approach to aquatic education stresses aquatic independence, showing our students how to be safe in the water and enjoy it as well. Programs vary slightly but each program helps place students in a comfortable, peer-supportive environment that maximizes student-instructor interaction. We also offer private swimming lessons.

Group Swim Lessons

We believe that at least two lessons per week promote skill development and retention. You may, however, enroll your child in more than one lesson per week. Swimming is great exercise and helps to develop healthy, well-conditioned young bodies. We recommend that you consider scheduling year-round, weekly lessons. Year-round weekly swim lessons are an excellent way to:

  • Provide “skill repetition over time” to reinforce motor skills and create a skilled, conditioned, swimmer.
  • Provide a regular, healthy, activity to improve your child’s level of physical conditioning. Give your child a continuing sense of achievement and confidence.
  • Develop the skills and knowledge to help your child stay safe around the water.

Swimmer Placement

Your first lesson will be an evaluation of your swimmer’s current ability level, this will allow us to place them in appropriate swim levels of the Swim Schools lesson plan. Our program has 15 levels of ability from AquaBabies all the way up to Junior Olympians. In our Montessori-based swim lessons, your swimmer will progress at their pace, and will advance when they are ready, even in the middle of a class period!

How to Enroll in Group Swim Lessons

Classes are small with only four students per instructor. Classes fill quickly so please reserve space well in advance. Consult the swim schedule for upcoming dates. A limited number of mid-term placements may also be available so please call for additional information. Click on the below link to sign up for your classes.  Classes are $30 per class with a $25 one-time registration fee or purchase 10 classes for $300 and receive 12 classes. That puts your classes at $25 per class.

Private Lessons for Kids and Adults

Private and semi-private lessons are available for kids and adults.
