Material Built for Wet Feet

Sharkskin tested the Titanium 2 range as equivalent to 5mm neoprene and rates it as primary exposure protection in water down to 68° F (20° C). In a sock, that warmth comes from Chillproof fabric embedded with titanium nanoparticles that hold on to more of your body heat.

The inner hollow yarn fleece keeps a thin layer of water against your skin and warms it. A one-way membrane sits in the middle, blocking wind and water from outside while letting moisture wick out. On the outside, a nylon/lycra blend gives four-way stretch for an easy pull-on, and its abrasion-resistant, water-repellent finish holds up to rubbing inside a boot.
