SSI Scuba Rangers Class

SSI Scuba Rangers is a fun, structured kids program designed to introduce young divers to the underwater world in a safe and supportive environment. This program is ideal for children ages 8 to 10 and focuses on building confidence, basic scuba skills, and water comfort through engaging pool-based training. All instruction takes place in warm, pool-friendly conditions and is led by experienced SSI instructors who specialize in youth education.

For $425, each Scuba Ranger receives their official workbook, t-shirt, wetsuit, mask, fins, snorkel, boots, gloves, hood, and access to six classes. Students progress through the Red Ranger, White Ranger, Blue Ranger, Silver Ranger, and Demo Ranger levels while learning foundational scuba skills and safe diving habits. To complete the program, we recommend a shallow dive in approximately 10 feet of water at Catalina Island, providing a pool-like ocean experience before advancing to additional specialties.

After completing Scuba Rangers, students can continue their journey with advanced Scuba Ranger Specialties such as Assistant Ranger, Buoyancy Ranger, Marine Life Ranger, Maze Ranger, Night Ranger, Photo Ranger, Rescue Ranger, and more.
